Fresh Bars Joining Erin Express This Year

We’re leveling up Erin’s Express this year – can you handle it? The bar crawl, happening this weekend, already hits some of the city’s most reliable party spots, but this year, a few new locations have officially joined the lineup.

Veterans know the beauty of Erin Express is that no two crawls look the same. You might start the day with a sensible plan, but somewhere between your second green beer and a DJ playing early 2000s throwbacks, that plan disappears. These new stops just add more chances for that exact scenario. Here are the newest places to experience Erin Express in this year.

Bars in Erin Express Bar Crawl 2026

Tempo

We’ve got another University City contender adding to the mix this year, thanks to Tempo, a trendy sports bar that leans heavily into nightlife energy once the DJs get going.

Tempo adds a different flavor to the crawl. It has the feel of a sports bar early on, but once the DJ takes over, it starts to feel a lot more like a club. If you’re looking for a stop where the dance floor energy kicks in early, this is a strong one to add to your route.

Strangeloves

Center City’s Strangeloves fits right into the Erin Express vibe. The quirky, bi-level bar has a personality of its own, with a big selection of beers and plenty of room for the crowd that inevitably shows up on crawl day.

The layout makes it a fun stop because the energy shifts depending on where you end up. One floor might feel like a packed party, while the other is perfect for regrouping with friends and deciding where the next stop should be. Either way, it’s a great place to refuel before continuing the crawl.

VINYL

If you like your bar crawl with a side of live music, VINYL is going to be one of the most entertaining stops of the day. The Center City lounge is hosting live music from 12 PM to 8 PM, while switching over to a Ben Arsenal set from 9 PM to 2 AM. The space itself already has a reputation for good music and great crowds, but the live music setup adds another layer of fun.

Barstool

Somehow, Barstool has managed to stay off the Erin Express map for years. That finally changes this time around, and longtime crawl vets will probably want to swing by just to see what the hype is about.

The spot already pulls big sports and nightlife crowds, so adding it into the Erin Expressagenda should create quite the scene.

Erin Express St. Patrick's Day

Nikki Lopez

Down on South Street, Nikki Lopez brings dive bar charm with a twist. The spot is known for strong cocktails and an easygoing atmosphere, which makes it a perfect stop when you need a quick reset before heading back into the chaos of the crawl.

Every Erin Express route needs a place where you can take a breath before diving back into the nuttiness, and Nikki Lopez is perfect for that. Of course, that plan usually lasts about ten minutes before someone orders another round and the whole group decides to stay longer.

More Stops, More Strategy

With these new additions, Erin Express keeps expanding the map of where the St. Patrick’s Day fun can happen in Philadelphia. Adding spots like Tempo, Strange Loves, VINYL, Barstool, and Nikki Lopez just means more options to shape your perfect crawl day.
