Philly Surf Club Is Bringing Global Cocktail Culture to North Broad

Just head down beneath Philadelphia's historic Divine Lorraine, and you’ll find Philly Surf Club, one of the city's newest cocktail bars that feels quite unlike anywhere else in the city.

Created by beverage director Nico Diaz and culinary director Natalie Maronski, Philly Surf Club blends flavors and cocktail techniques in such a way that Philadelphia has been lacking.

Not Your Typical Tropical Bar

Philly Surf Club takes a more refined approach to tropical cocktails than just your classic tiki cup. Every drink is built with classic cocktail techniques while pulling inspiration from destinations far and wide.

You'll find cocktails featuring ingredients like Parmesan-washed mezcal, clarified juices, tropical fruits, house made syrups, and unexpected flavor combos. And the kitchen follows the same philosophy as the bar – led by chef Natalie Maronski, the menu draws inspirations from street food and coastal cuisines from around the world. Vietnamese, Peruvian, Spanish, Basque, Chinese, and other global influences come together in a way that beautifully complements their cocktail counterparts.

Philly Surf Club currently operates on a walk-in-only basis, making it an easy stop for spontaneous nights out. The bar is open Thursday through Sunday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
