The Philadelphia Listening Rooms We’re Loving Right Now
There’s a moment that happens in these rooms where – once the music changes – nobody talks for a second, and you realize… everyone is actually listening.
It’s a different kind of night out. And right now in Philadelphia, it’s quietly becoming one of the best ones you can have.

This Fishtown spot flips the usual nightlife formula on its head. Instead of loud crowds and rushed drinks, you get guest DJs spinning vinyl while people actually sit, listen, and hang out. And there’s ice cream.
It sounds random, but it’s not. The whole space is built around slowing things down and letting the music stretch out. It’s warm, creative, and way more community-driven than anything we’ve seen in a while.
The Lounge @ LMNO
The Lounge inside LMNO feels like something you’re supposed to discover.
Hidden behind and within the main restaurant, this retro-esque lounge leans fully into the listening room concept, with low and moody lighting and a sound system designed to make every track feel incredibly intentional (which it is).
Percy Sound Lounge
Percy Sound Lounge might be one of the most intentional listening spaces in the city right now.
Located inside and to the right of Percy, the Sound Lounge is built around vintage speakers and actually hearing the music. The room itself waxes nostalgic, almost like a ‘70s living room that just happens to host DJs. Solar Myth
Solar Myth doesn’t feel like it belongs to one category, which is exactly why it works.
By day, it’s coffee and pastries. By night, it shifts into wine, amaro, and one of the most thoughtfully curated listening environments in the city, also stacked with live performances layered into the mix as well (if you want to hit more live performances, check out our article Here’s What “Weeknights Live” Means for Your Plans).
The record collection alone is enough to keep you there for hours, pulling from genres and artists you probably weren’t expecting. Go in for a drink and leave having discovered something new.
