Walnut Wonderland Opens for the Season
As the holiday season begins to sparkle across Philadelphia, Walnut Garden has transformed into a glowing winter dreamland. Walnut Wonderland, the pop-up holiday experience at 1708 Walnut Street in Rittenhouse Square, officially opened recently and it’s already becoming the city’s coziest destination for festive fun.

At Walnut Wonderland, the bar is focused on warm, seasonal comfort. The menu features spiced sangria, maple whiskey sours, and rum toddies, as well as boozy hot drinks (and their nonalcoholic counterparts), like spiked hot chocolate and vanilla-cream cider, for example.
On the food front, this winter wonderland comes correct, serving up bar bites with a holiday twist: s’mores tables where you can roast your own, fried cheese curds, a chorizo-kimchi hot dog, an arugula salad dressed in fall flavor, and a rich, smoked brisket cheesesteak that truly stands out.
Pick Out Your Own Christmas Tree
One of the most charming parts of the pop-up: Walnut Wonderland is also selling real Christmas trees. Guests can pick from Fraser fir, Douglas fir, or White pine and for $99, they’ll cut it, wrap it, and send it home ready for your living room.
If you’re looking for a place to unwind, soak up some holiday cheer, and make new memories in a beautifully reimagined urban space, then Walnut Wonderland is your winter ticket.
