Where to Watch the Eagles Home Opener in Philadelphia This Sunday
Philadelphia, clear your Sunday schedules. The Birds are back, baby.
The Eagles officially kick off the 2026 regular season this Sunday, September 13, welcoming the Washington Commanders to Lincoln Financial Field for a 4:25 p.m. showdown.
If you managed to snag tickets, congratulations. If you didn't, don't worry. You can still spend Sunday surrounded by giant TVs cold drinks, wings, and crab fries. Plus, considering tickets to this year's opener are going for hundreds of dollars, watching from a bar might be the considerably cheaper way to experience the Birds.
So, where should you post up?
Stateside Live!
Stateside Live! is going big for the home opener, because one screen is never quite enough when Philadelphia sports teams are involved.
Located right in the South Philly stadium district, Stateside Live! is hosting a Home Opener event featuring DJ Pauly D, with live entertainment, food, drinks, giveaways, game-day activations and massive TVs. The festivities are currently set to start at 9 a.m., with a special pregame set from Pauly D.
There's also a Green Legion tailgate and a separate tailgate experience happening throughout the day, making this one of the better choices if you're looking for an all-day Eagles party rather than simply a place to catch the game.
Other Half Brewing
If you'd rather pair your football with a really good beer lineup, head to Other Half Brewing in Philadelphia.
Other Half is hosting an Eagles Watch Party on Sunday, September 13 from 4–7 p.m., putting you right in the middle of the action without having to fight your way into the Linc.
Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse
Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse is another reliable Center City option for Eagles fans who don't feel like making the trek down to South Philly.
The Rittenhouse sports bar has a massive media setup, including an 11-foot media wall and more than 20 HD TVs, so you're unlikely to be stuck watching the Birds on a screen the size of your phone.
Bar-Ly
Bar-Ly Chinatown brings the classic packed-sports-bar formula to Chinatown with plenty of TVs, a big beer selection and a crowd that knows how to get loud when the stakes are high.
The space regularly draws crowds for major sporting events, and Eagles Sunday should be no exception.
Plus, there's plenty of food beyond the standard wings-and-fries routine, so you can make an afternoon of it.
Philadium
For something a little more neighborhood-y, Philadium is another South Philly option.
The longtime neighborhood bar has been serving Philly sports fans since 1971 and has plenty of TVs for catching the game. It's close enough to the stadium complex to get you into the game-day spirit without requiring a ticket.
The beauty of a 4:25 p.m. kickoff is that you have all afternoon to prepare, because once 4:25 hits, Philadelphia is going to be doing what Philadelphia does best: Watching the Birds.
