Mardi Gras Pops Off at Craftsman Row Saloon

Philadelphia may be far from the Louisiana, but that didn’t stop Craftsman Row Saloon from bringing full New Orleans energy to the city with its green, yellow, and purple clad Mardi Gras Pop-Up.

Walking in, guests are immediately transported from Center City to the French Quarter with strings of beads are hung from the rafters and glittering masks lining the bar. The space, already known for its lively atmosphere, leaned fully into the theme…and it’s working on us.

Behind said bar, the drink menu also got a Mardi Gras makeover. Classic cocktails like Hurricanes, Sazeracs, and daiquiris caught our eye first, alongside creative house specials that blended sweet, citrusy, and boozy in true carnival fashion. Beads were handed out with every round, so you can imagine it doesn’t take long before the crowd looked like a parade all its own.

The vibe inside is pure party, but what makes the pop-up stand out wasn’t just the décor or the drinks, but instead, it’s sense of shared excitement. As pop-ups go, Craftsman Row Saloon’s Mardi Gras activation hit all the right notes — immersive, social, and undeniably fun.
