Because Craftsman Row Saloon's Nightmare Before Christmas pop-up is back, and it kicks off this Thursday, September 10.

Somewhere in a Philadelphia planning meeting, someone pitched "let's build an entire weekend around a Nick Cage movie from 2004" and it became an actual three-day event with a director's appearance, an escape-room-style heist game, and two outdoor screenings on the exact lawn where half the movie was filmed. That's National Treasure Weekend, running August 20 through 22 across Carpenters' Hall and Independence Mall, and it turns out the Historic District's tight footprint makes it unusually easy to build a real crawl around.

This Sunday, Synthicide and Shadowplay PHL are teaming up to throw the very first annual TROPIGOTH Festival at Liberty Point, and it might be the most delightfully out-of-the-norm party concept Philly's waterfront has seen all summer.

After much anticipation, Conor McGregor finally returns to the Octagon to face Max Holloway in the long awaited rematch at UFC 329, and if you're looking for somewhere to catch every knockout, submission, and staredown, Philadelphia has a few great spots showing the action. The main card is scheduled to begin Saturday evening, July 11, with McGregor and Holloway headlining one of the biggest UFC events of the year, so here are four places to watch the fights.

Pride Weekend in Philadelphia never really stays in one lane, which is always the best part. It starts as a march, segues into a festival, spills into the bars, pulls drag performers onto stages, fills sidewalks with glitter, flags, music, friends, strangers, and consistently becomes one of the loudest, warmest, most alive weekends of the summer.

This year's Pride Weekend is shaping up to be one of the biggest in recent memory, with events stretching from the Delaware Waterfront to the Parkway and everywhere in between. 

For anyone unfamiliar, Porchfest is a community driven live music festival where local musicians and bands perform on front porches, stoops, patios, and sidewalks throughout West  Philadelphia. Instead of everyone gathering around one giant stage, the music is spread across residential streets, creating a moving festival atmosphere that encourages people to walk around and explore.

There was a time when cocktails were not trying to be mysterious. People were out here ordering Melon Balls like they had stock in melon liqueur.
