Morgan’s Pier Is Throwing an Oktoberfest With an Open Bar This Saturday

This Saturday, Morgan’s Pier would like to offer a pretty convincing reason to head to the Delaware waterfront : Oktoberfest, an open bar and unlimited soft pretzels.  Good things really do come in threes.

On October 3, Morgan's Pier is turning its beer garden into an Oktoberfest party from 2 to 6 p.m., equipped with an open bar, unlimited soft pretzels, live music and even some steins to treasure for Oktoberfests to come for the first 200 guests. 

Considering October has now officially arrived, this feels like a pretty appropriate way to kick off the month.

Let's get to the important part first – the bar is open.

Morgan’s Pier is offering an open bar during the four-hour Oktoberfest celebration, with options beyond just beer. The venue specifically notes that Surfsides will also be available, so non-beer drinkers aren't being sent to the corner to fend for themselves.

Tickets are currently $50 in advance, while tickets at the door will be $60, while supplies last. Morgan’s Pier also notes that tickets aren't guaranteed at the door, so planning ahead may be the move (as it usually is.)

The Oktoberfest is also part of Morgan’s Pier's larger Fall Fest, which runs through Halloween and includes seasonal food and drinks, pumpkin carving and some other fall programming.

Meaning even if you're not ready to go full lederhosen, there will be plenty of fall drinking opportunities happening around the Pier.
