Secondhand Ranch Opens in Fishtown
There’s a new kid on Frankford Ave, and it’s not another brewery, cocktail den, or boutique vintage shop. It’s somehow all of those things at once. Secondhand Ranch opened its doors this week, and Fishtown wasted no time wandering in to figure out what this place actually is.
Spoiler: it’s very cool.

Secondhand Ranch blends a vintage store and a Western-themed saloon bar under one roof, which actually works… really well.
The Vintage Side
Let’s talk about the front half first. Walk in during the day, and you’re greeted not by bar noise but by racks of worn-in denim, boots, flannels, graphic tees, leather jackets, and carefully curated finds from several local vendors. The inventory seems to move fast, which is exactly what you want in a vintage store.
And Then There’s the Saloon
Where most vintage stores stop at retail, Secondhand Ranch keeps going. The vibe shifts into a warm, wood-paneled saloon bar that’s extremely easy to settle into.
The menu includes your basic bar snacks (hot dogs and hot peanuts), with a full menu coming in February.
A Space That Feels Like Fishtown
What sets Secondhand Ranch apart is how naturally it blends into the neighborhood. It’s creative without being overly branded, stylish without being precious, and just weird enough to feel fun. You could stop in on a Sunday afternoon for quiet browsing or walk in on a Friday night and find people drinking, trying on jackets, and making plans for the rest of the night.
