Where to Watch March Madness in Philadelphia

March Madness has arrived, and that raises one question and one question only: where are we watching the game?

Philadelphia understands that.

Here’s where to post up depending on your vibe.

Where to watch March Madness in Philadelphia

Stateside Live!

If your goal is to go all in on March Madness energy, Stateside Live! is the move.

They’re hosting March Hoops watch parties from now through April 6, which really means you can treat this place like your tournament headquarters. You just can’t go wrong with massive screens everywhere and drink specials that keep things interesting deep into the night.

This is where you go when:

  • your bracket still has hope

  • or you’ve accepted defeat and just want to be surrounded by people yelling at TVs

Craft Hall

Craft Hall is leaning into the tournament with “Mac Madness” running right through March 29, which might be just as important as the games themselves. This creative mac and cheese special will include 8 different “matchups” – like BBQ Pork Shoulder Mac vs Jerk Chicken Mac and Al Pastor Pork Mac vs. Broccoli Cheddar Mac.

It’s a great option if your group:

  • wants to watch the games

  • but also wants good food to carry the experience

Tradesman’s & Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse

If you’re looking for something a little more organized but still high-energy, Philly Social Club is hosting Sweet Sixteen watch parties at Tradesman’s and Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse on March 26 and March 28, respectively.

Tradesman’s and Cavanaugh’s already have the setup for a great game day: plenty of TVs, central locations, and a crowd that leans social but still tuned into the action. Add in an event crowd, and it turns into one of those nights where you’re watching the game and meeting half the room.

Best for:

  • bigger groups

  • people who want a mix of sports and a touch of social energy

Founding Fathers Sports Bar

For a more classic Philly sports bar feel, Founding Fathers gets it right.

No overthinking it happens here. Instead, you’ll find solid drinks, with great bar food, and of course, plenty of TVs. Lock into a matchup and ride it out from tip-off to final buzzer.

Perfect if:

  • you want to actually watch the game without it turning into a full nightclub

Whatever your pick, just know one thing: your bracket is probably getting busted anyway. You might as well enjoy where you’re watching it happen.

Already planning your next night out around the games? You might want to keep it going after the final buzzer. South Street has been picking up serious momentum lately with a wave of new spots worth checking out.
